À propos de l'événement
After graduating from the National Graduate Diploma in Fine Arts Plastic Expression in Grenoble, I turned to design and communication. Fifteen years later and after rich and varied experiences, I decided to refocus on my first philosophical preoccupations and start my artistic career. Many reflections and research later, I created a new concept and a new technique. During my five years of study, I discovered and worked on a material that still inspires me today: resin.
Afterwards, my professional experience in textile made me discover the sublime art of silkscreen printing. These two particularly striking and inspiring experiences, I decided to combine them to create a new technique. I created and registered the patent for the manufacturing concept of this one, which I would describe as "2d augmented".
The inclusion resin allows me to start from a liquid state to a solid state, with the possibility of modifying and transforming it according to my needs. By incorporating fiberglass, I create a medium in which I include my collages, silkscreen prints and drawings inspired by my own photographs or emblematic images of our society.
Working on human relations, sharing, exchanges, flow and reflux, the material of the fibre, through its random weaving, is the representation of it and the resin becomes its binder. The edges of the works are raw and imperfect, as is the human being in his relationship with others. These works are optimistic and colourful, reflecting my own personality and the utopia in which I often aspire to live. Both a reflection of the soul and a mirror of culture, works are a vision that leads to wonder.
The spectator's eye is imbued with a colourful and unexpected universe. I don't sign my name, I'm fingerprinting. At the same time, it is both highly personal physically but also more anonymous visually, and it challenges.
By originality, vitality and technique, these works do not leave indifferent. Despite the range of themes covered, the works are therefore very identifiable. As a direct descendant of the artists Pop Art, my very personal works take off in a popular and industrial flight.
